An Eye Within

When I open my eyes,

I see temple not god.

Body absent soul, Oh! Lord.

When I open my eyes,

My vision is not clear.

Short sightness is a reason,

Pollution, dust, smoke on and on,

But ‘Lack of Desire’ is more brutal one.

When I open my eyes, I see death easy than life,

Lust fascinating than love,

Money important than blood,

Rank higher than knowledge,

Identity lost in big mall.

And above these all,

When I open my eyes,

I see others.

When I close them,

Its me.
